Products that are amorphous, purely digital, or don't have clear physical form are harder to feature. Products with transparent packaging like glass bottles require higher-quality source images but can produce especially impressive showcase results when done right.
Yes. You can specify interaction types when setting up your Product Showcase. Available interactions include: holding and displaying, applying (for beauty products), wearing (for apparel), pouring or drinking (for beverage products), opening or unpacking, and using with relevant gestures. The AI generates appropriate hand positions, grip angles, and interaction physics for each interaction type. For interactions involving physical product use — applying cream, pouring a drink, using a device — you can provide product-specific context in your prompt to refine the accuracy of the interaction and ensure it looks natural and authentic.
No. High-quality flat photography — standard packshot images on white or transparent backgrounds — is sufficient for most Product Showcase use cases. 3D models can improve quality in certain situations, particularly for products with complex geometry or multiple surfaces that need to be visible simultaneously, but they are not required. If you have 3D models available (many larger e-commerce brands produce these for their websites), you can upload them to BasedUGC and they'll be used as the primary product reference for higher-precision compositing. Either input method produces commercially usable results for standard ad creative needs.
